A very special evening at Pop's Barbacoa

On my mom’s birthday , 4th November, we really wanted to go somewhere happening for elegant dining . 

My dad came across this restaurant - bar with a very interesting name ‘ Pops Barbacoa ‘ on Dineout app. We love to try new places and the name itself was so intriguing and we had to try this place.

Oh my god! As soon as we entered the place, I was flabbergasted and it was so dope .The ambience was very classy, luminous and so put together.

 It gives an artistic vibe with all the wall paintings of Marilyn Monroe , The Godfather, the famous character ‘Joker’ and more .

The architecture gives this place a touch of uniqueness . It looked like we reserved the whole place to ourselves because we went a little early there .

They have outdoor, indoor and semi- indoor seating . The interior decor is just commendable. It's the best hangout place, well lit up and here time flies like anything.

They also have a very vibrant bar here with great drinks selection with a friendly and efficient staff . Oh don't get me started on the food they serve here.  It's so appetizing and the drinks both mocktails and cocktails, have unique names and taste delicious.

For starters, we ordered Honey chilli potatoes, paneer tikka, Cajun dusted fries with guava guacamole and sour cream ,Tandoori malai broccoli , Grilled corn on the cob sour cream and salsa.

With our stomachs already bursting, we went ahead and ordered main course - Pizza exotic veg ,Old school Cannelloni, Subz miloni biryani and Alfredo penne pasta . The waiting staff probably thought that we were out of our minds :).

For drinks we ordered Orange peach punch , Golden tall , Fresh lime soda and drinks for the elders. My dear cousin Abhinav went for LIT. My personal fav was the Orange peach punch and Old school cannelloni. 

The food was very impressively presented , and was mouth watering , flavorful and piquant . It was a forever remembering experience for me because we had so much fun catching up with my cousins and family , we shared so many stories and experiences .

I‘d give this place a 10 out of a 10. It has quick and efficient service , great ambience and delectable food. And with the Dineout passport discount my dad tells me it was light on the pocket too.

The sound of retro music like 90’s love songs was very soothing and provided a perfect environment for an evening full of fun and frolic. I really enjoyed this place and it's a must visit  !!
